We chose to use this lense because one of the easiest methods to convince the public to make a change is to use the pathos and logos forms of persuasion. We used facts from the ethical lense to make the audience realize how illogical and immoral our unsustainable actions are. We used evidence from the article to show how global warming and depletion of resources will ultimately degrade on human welfare, therefore we need to take responsibility to preserve it. Another reason we used this lense was because it is a call to action, stating humans need to start to make a change.
