Social Work is most often divided into three categories: micro, mezzo, macro. Micro is the most common exercise as it focus’s on the individual and engages in helping one to find housing, health care, and social services. This differs slightly within the military as the military regulates the social services that are being awarded. Military personnel offers housing or a housing allowance which alleviates some stressors within a military family or individual. Health services are within the Veterans administration and they are limited in what they can offer due to governmental funding. Although there are struggles, services are offered and especially in helping service members cope with challenges in regards to military life and access to the benefits entitled to them by their service. But what if their stressors are coming from home, divorcing parents, unempoyed parents, poverty, death of a family member. These are areas in which the military does not always have the resources to help, leaving many soldiers feeling aleinated and helpless. Now the stressors of their own lives compiled with life at home has added another layer of
