There is such a high demand for homes that almost anyone can get through the various tests to become a foster parent. With thousands of homes, there are going to be families who are in no way fit to take in kids with emotional problems. The troublesome fact is that even when a kid is removed from corrupt home, another vulnerable kid is often placed right back in.

I know this from personal experience. Last year, my family took in a four year old little girl named Alexa. Her mother was on the streets struggling with drug abuse, depression, and her lifelong bipolar disorder. She was practically raised by her grandparents, who have a spacious home and love her more than anything. We became very near dear friends with her grandparents and Alexa would visit them regularly.
