Service Learning It is a learning tool that solidifies the classroom pedagogy and enables the students to relate to global issues. The pedagogical method of learning integrates community service into class curriculum thus making the students part of the learning process. Service learning empowers students and enables them to think critically and analyze real world issues and problems to be able to give a recommendation. Students develop abilities like teamwork, excellent communication skills, relating to adults and expressing themselves to the society Many service learning opportunities exist in the community where students develop their roles in contributing to the community, addressing their needs and solving problems. Students may go for a blood drive to sensitize the community on the importance of blood donation and participate in the activity too. , a blood drive may be conducted by students with the aim of participation and thanking the participants.
