Introduction
“Instead of yelling and spanking, which don't work anyway, I believe in finding creative ways to keep their attention - turning things into a game, for instance. And, when they do something good, positive reinforcement and praise” (Richardson, n.d.).
People can create happiness, by building it with money, words or actions, but there is something that we did not bother to know, on how we could maintain that happiness. Nowadays, looking back to history, either parents or teachers would use punishments as their way to remove students’ bad behaviour. Recently, NBC News (2016) reported that majority of parents still allowing spanking kids if they did bad behaviour. Getting hit and yelled by parents and educators is the common things

For example, the student who gets praise for his art skills will tend to increase and improve his skills in artworks. Based on B. F. Skinner’s theoretical framework, reinforcement is one of the methods used to increase desired behaviour in a person. Lots of studies have been done to determine the right ways in teaching students since decades before ever since reinforcement discovery. Every studies and experiments were conducted to boost human civilization in today’s life and to deeply understand how to manage students’ disruptive behaviour. Lots of studies and experiments have been conducted to relate reinforcement and student performances. A research was done by increasing teachers’ praising rate towards students to reduce student disruptive behaviour (Dufrene et al., 2014). In this research, two participants were chosen, and need to increase their praising rate towards their students by five methods which is indirect training, direct behaviour consultation, maintenance, direct behaviour consultation (DBC) and performance feedback (PF), one month and 2-month follow up phases. Similar experiment was conducted with the use of three participants in increasing praising rates towards students with direct training method only (Duchaine, 2014). Both experiments got the same result; When teachers’ praising rate towards students increases, students’ disruptive behaviour decreases. Another experiment conducted to determine the relationship between reinforcement and students’ grades. According to (Au, 1974), a kindergarten was chosen to predict the effectiveness of praise and attentions from teachers in students’ grades.The experiment was conducted by selecting three top achievers and three low achievers from the kindergarten. The result shows that high achievers were not being affected by any changes amount of praise and attention.
