M any people in today’s society find themselves at a point in their lives where they feel burnt out, bored or discouraged with an aspect or aspects of their lives. Entrepreneurs are not an exception. They are aware that they desperately need to change something, have some ideas but find themselves unsure of what to do and how to implement the changes for improvement. They therefore find themselves carrying on in their current situation, more often than not becoming increasingly frustrated with themselves and disillusioned with their life situation. They have no knowledge of who they are or where they want to get to in life. At every point life is a trial and error game resulting in failure after failure and crisis after crisis. Their life is like someone going up against a brick wall
Such people are characterized by, lack of knowledge and lack of religious wisdom. Such people easily go astray because they do not have guiding principles or anything to guide them in life
Proverbs 21:16 mentions that “A man who strays from the path of understanding comes to rest in the company of the dead”
The Perishing These are people who have given up in life for they cannot see where they are going. They are heavily frustrated and have tried all they can in life but nothing seems to work for them.
In such a group of people you find drunkards and drug addicts, prostitutes, criminals etc. They resort to substances in order to occupy or control their minds. The spirits of these people have practically dwindled and their bones dried up. This usually manifests in the physical in terms of poor health, sickness and general bodily weakness, aggression, self-pity etc. People in this group see life as a hopeless exercise.
Proverbs 17:22 describes this human state clearly by saying that “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” …show more content…
That is normal life for a cow, but not for a human being. A human being is created to dream, to be spurred on by the dream inside him. Humans are the only creatures that can carry a vision, but sadly most people live just like the cow – no vision, no dream, as long as they can place a plate of food on their table. Such is the epitome of misery, for it is better to be dead, than to not have a reason to live. A man without a vision is a walking grave – he has no reason why death should avoid him, and has no reason to avoid death either. Vision can keep you alive. It will spur you on, even against odds that are otherwise
