Mitch often has flashbacks about his time in college with Morrie as a professor. One of these include Morrie and Mitch talking about the future and what Mitch wants to do after college. "...if you really want it, then you'll make your dream happen" (Albom 47). Morrie is telling Mitch to make his dream happen. If he really wants it he would fight for it and become better.
