A country that lost over 50 medical centers in result of the 2010 earthquakes, Haiti was in a state of under prioritized healthcare before Hurricane Matthew crashed ashore. Many of the hospitals were struggling to stay open prior the storms with complaints of low pay and limited resources. The first of many cargo planes from a variety of nations have begun to arrive to the capital city of Port-au-Prince’s International airport.
