How would you describe your own management style? Now that you know more about the management styles and its outcomes, are there any areas of your management style that you may want to change?

•I practice on laissez faire management and autocratic management in different situation. I was working in ICU/CCU department for 4 year 5 month. When I was working with my senior and intermediate senior on that shift, I will practice on laissez faire management cause I felt safe when working with them, which is they are very experience in our department, motivated and capable of working on their own. That why I will support, give little guidance about my opinion when they need my help. I give them freedom to make decision during provide care to the

During emergency, is a critical time for the lifesaving situation, so I will give instruction and lead the team during resuscitation time.

• In conclusion, I want change my practice in combination of above two in way of democratic management cause I noticed about currently I work with combination of different experience level staff in a shift, so this is unfair for the junior staff when I too strict with them and too freedom for the senior staff. According to Wong, 2012 related to both positive nurses and patient outcome ability to create positive relationships within the organization. (a cited by Marquis & Huston, 2015).

Practice on democratic management. Thus, manager will very sure about employee are capable to finish task and just minimum support and guide to the employees.

Example: I will use theory Y when work with my senior colleagues with experience 5 year above, I trust them capable to finish the task, example during the resuscitation, with the experience their got, them will automatically prepare for intubation item, no need us to instruct them what the next step to be done with the minimum guidance.

•Marquis and Huston (2015) mention about theory Z created by Ouchi (1981) participative Japanese style of management which consensus decision making, fitting employees to their jobs, job security, trust, teamwork and has been fairly mixed.
