However, to make sure there is no wrong doing, there should be restrictions placed on them. There are some restriction already placed, however as Ross Ramsey pointed out there are loopholes that protect officeholders from accountability and transparency. In order to make everyone accountable and have transparency in the democratic process, there should be a little stricter oversight on interest groups.
