12,000 years ago the Native Amazonians came into the rainforest and claimed it as their home. They have lived there ever since and are not about to stop living in the rainforest simply because the Loggers want to take down trees. The Loggers want to turn trees into lumber for things such as houses and buildings. The worst part of it all is that when the Loggers take down trees, they also take away tons and tons of oxygen. The tribes have lived together for many years. The Native women make clothing. They also care for the Native children. The Native men hunt for food and gather resources to keep the tribe together. If the Loggers are allowed to take the trees down, the Amazonians won’t have any food. The disappearance of the rainforest will make the animal population dwindle. By taking the trees down, you take the wild life away. If there is no wildlife, there is no food for the tribes. The native people can’t supply food for their families. The have been there the longest. They have earned the right to make the decision. I don’t think a group of people should be able to come in and take the land from the Natives. The Loggers do not have the right to walk into the rainforest and claim it as their property. This would be like having a group of people coming into your home after you have lived there for many years and trying take it away from you. There could be a compromise when there is an area that does need to be cleared. That should be the area where The Loggers could take away trees but only when they
