Learning starts from the time we become a fetus inside the womb. Information on how we learn can be applied to daily living as well as our occupations. Learning provides us the opportunity to create a better environment and an understanding of others. This paper will elaborate on some key terms and learning theories that will provide a framework on learning principles. These principles could assist not only the individual but also organizations if used in the proper setting. Learning is a continuous process that possess many ways to apply them to our daily lives. We must not allow set schemas to interfere with this process or the current skills that we embody will perish. Humanism

Constructivism states that children learn through adaptation. Children are not passive in knowledge, but active at making meaning, testing out theories, and trying to make sense out of the world and themselves. Constructivism is a philosophy of learning founded on the premise that, by reflecting on our experiences, we construct our own understanding of the world we live in. Each of us generates our own “rules” and “mental models,” which we use to make sense of our experiences. Learning, therefore, is simply the process of adjusting our mental models to accommodate new experiences. (funderstanding) It is also considered to be a child centered theory that focuses on the knowledge of interpretation and experience-based activities. Often over a period of time, employees become complacent and develop bad habits that could be detrimental to the workplace. Negative reinforcement would starve what you want to die which are those bad habits and force change in a responsible manner.
Strategy 4 Information processing is a major factor in any organization. Three critical areas of processes are attention, repetition and elaboration. Information not used frequently tends to get lost if not used periodic. For instance, if a manager do not practice skills needed to balance a schedule or depend solely on a computer system and it crashes, something so basic then would become a crisis.
Strategy 5 Social learning is very important to a workforce. Imitation and modeling are major factors and is a combination of information processing and operant conditioning. As a supervisor or trainer, my audience (workers) must see an example of what right look like. I must set the example in my actions and behavior in order for my subordinates to model the behavior.
