The main aim of this paper is to assess on how HealthStar is providing ARMHS to individuals with mental illness. The mental health department at HealthStar is responsible in providing ARMHS services. The department currently has a director of mental health service, an ARMHS/CTSS treatment director, four mental health Practitioners and three masters level social work intern students and a part-time LICSW supervisor. The Family Association for Mental Health Everywhere (FAME, 2015) is focused on offering families empathy, support, knowledge and directions to get the most from the health care system as an advocate for a family member living with mental illness (FAME, 2015). This organization focuses on the families, saying that families play a critical role for recovery for mental illness (FAME, 2015). FAME’s goal is for families to not be alone in the challenges they may face, and to make sure the families of a loved one with mental illness has the support and guidance they need (FAME, 2015).
