Face-to-face interaction allowed me to observe their body language, expression allowing me to understand more without any misunderstanding or misinterpretation. This gave me an idea of the person’s status or their “position or social location that has been defined by culture” (pg.117). A person’s personality is constituted of his/her likes, dislikes, interests etc, along with their status which is dependent on the “visual indications of a person’s social position” (pg.131), socio-economic class (upper, middle and lower class) and their education. I always tend to start the conversation with the strangers in order to erase the awkwardness that starts to build up. So, if my interaction with them causes uncomfortable environment, and awkwardness then I can withdraw myself from interacting with them and not bother them
