Motivation is divided into intrinsic and extrinsic factors that encourage passion and vitality in people to be continually interested and committed to an activity or to make an effort to attain a goal. When people are intrinsically motivated to do a task, they will start the task on their own, keep on doing the task on their own, and furthermore improve it. For many numbers of reasons, it’s better for society and for each person when people participate freely of their own will, meaning when people take initiatives.
Self-efficacy is similar to motivation; I already discussed it briefly for teachers, now let’s see how it is applied for students. Computer Technology (CT) makes learning more relevant, meaningful, and enjoyable; consequently, academic

Intrinsic motivation is attained from factors such as interest in the topic, and curiosity. On the opposite side, extrinsic motivation is related to external rewards or incentives and in my case, I cannot give any gifts or rewards to my students so extrinsic motivation is commonly out of reach in the school. In order to motivate students, teachers should find the way to encourage and challenge their students. In a traditional teacher-centered program, teachers have to differentiate teaching activities in order to place some power into the hands of the students in order to motivate them. Integrating CT into daily activities in elementary schools expose students to the use of electronic devices and prepares students for higher levels of education and in the future to be able to get jobs requiring advanced computer skills, especially in the case of students who do not have computers at home (Chapman & Mählck, 2004).
Computer-based learning (CBL) is a concept of using computers for teaching purposes Including activities like investigating concepts, computer presentations for the class, computer- based testing, drawing or creating projects; the idea is to integrate computer learning into the curriculum as a whole, rather than isolating computer learning as a separate subject (K12 Academics, 2016). The CBL approach prepares students for the diverse ways in which students will experience computers in the future and provides a framework for comprehensive early childhood computer exposure.
Activities for elementary students could be very easy to develop; the learning and skills developed will be impacted highly in later levels of education. Few examples are activities like reviewing online newspapers, consulting online references, and looking for data, all of these are possible with Internet-connected computers in elementary
