An article published by two assistant professors at Barry University states that "...statistics showing a persistent gap between earnings of men and women for 'the same job' tend to obscure more subtle but meaningful differences between individuals that have nothing to do with gender. Depending on the source, these statistics may not even be comparing the same job" (Jacobs and Finley). It is granted that this rationalization does make numerous statistics inaccurate and unreliable, however, there are still various other studies have been done correctly and still proves the pay gaps exist.
Egalitarianism is something that people should naturally support and believe in. It does not matter what is the person's appearance, their origin, sex, age, and etc. Humans should all treat each other with the same respect and dignity. If Americans decide to dedicate themselves more to egalitarianism, the country will have a significantly better future for young children growing up today, as well as for those people who are still today struggling by these
