The measure of WBC and RBC Cells are very important for the doctor to diagnose various diseases such as anemia, leukemia etc. So, precise counting of blood cells plays very important role.. Fast and cost-effective production of blood cell count reports are of paramount importance in the healthcare industry. In the market there are various systems for the automatic quantification of blood cells that allow counting the number of different types of cells within the blood smear. The major issue in clinical laboratory is to produce a precise result for every test especially in the area of Red Blood Cell (RBC) count. Detection and counting of blood cells have been done on three microscopic blood images of each patient which resulted in accuracy of …show more content…
It is an implementation of automated counting for blood cell which manually done byhematocytometer by using counting chamber. Blood counting is synonym with the complete blood count or CBC which refers to compilation test of red blood cell (RBC), white blood cell (WBC), platelet, haemoglobin and haematocrit. Each of them has their role in the body system and the counting result is important to determine the capability or deficiency of the body system. In short, any abnormal reading of CBC can give a sign of infection or disease. SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
When typical virus attacks human blood cells. The infected cells can be visualized using a special microscope. The microscope generates digital images that medical doctors can analyse and identify the infected cells.

Step 1: Image Pre-processing
Step 1.1: Input image In this, when you click on pushbutton named input image, the current directory is opened, and from this you can select any patients folder to calculate that patients number of blood cells in his body. Like this, each patient‟s folder consists of five blood images with the medical report of that patient.
Step 1.2: RGB to Gray conversion Image read in step-1 is in RGB format. But for post processing, this image is to be converted in to grayscale format. After converting image in to grayscale, salt n pepper noise is added in resultant image. Practically source of noise is thermal noise and artifacts i.e. noise added due to body movement.
Step1. 3: Median Filtering Median filtering is used to remove noise which is added at the time of capturing the microscopic blood images. This noise can be the dust particles that are present on the blood slide while preparing the slides.
