Macbeth meticulously planned out the murder of Banquo and even hired people to kill him so he doesn’t have to. He had several meetings with the murders of Banquo, to make sure everyone understood the plan. Macbeth states “Grapples you to the heart and love of us, Who wear our health but sickly in his life, Which in his death were perfect.” (3.1/107-109) which talks about if these people kill Banquo, Macbeth will be forever grateful. That shows how Macbeth will do just about anything to get rid of Banquo. He thought his plan out very carefully before he executed it. Macbeth provided evidence for this by declaring “For certain friends that are both his and mine, Whose loves I may not drop, but wail his fall who I myself struck down.” (3.1/122-124) This proves how he thought about the plan because he talks about he could easily kill Banquo but since they share friends it would create unnecessary tension.
