I have always been curious how viable and successful of a career path studying communication would lead me to. The way we communicate with others is a skill that will always need to be growing and will always need to be effective. The article says that, “Studies have found that many accounting graduates still lack these competencies” (Boyle). This fact answered my question of how could I be making a difference with this choice of college major. Overall, this text makes me feel more secure in this field pathway and it substantiates that this would be a good subject for one to dive into. I think this article speaks a lot of truth and that the statistics are great resources to use when seeking out to know more information on the benefits of this choice of major/skill in general.
