Competitors, the internet can also be used to monitor any competitors activity so that when another business is doing extremely well tescos can look on their website or on any trends and articles that they can find about the other business and they can see when they are doing to make them so popular, once they find out what is going right with the business they can then change and aspect o their business to increase their sales. For example if tescos finds out that asda has a huge sale going on on summer picnic items tescos can find out how well it is going and if they like it, they can then change their marketing technique and items that they have in their shops so that they are on sale so that they will be better than asdas and more people will want to come and shop at their stores instead of asda because their deals are better. They can also get their employees to sing up for their competitors websites wich will then give them more of an inside look at what their competitors will have to offer and are saying about differne news and activitys.
