Colors is an element of art referring to reflected light. They are very necessary elements in any painting or piece of art. They represent many senses and feelings the artist was feeling towards the art that contain them or something in particular they want us to take in or comprehend. Many colorless paintings can be seen as bland and soulless with no emotions attached to them. But that’s not always the case, there are paintings which must be observed as a grayscale painting to really show the contrast between two things. We use categories to differentiate between them. Both in art and in the digital world three primary colors are used, which are
Red, Green and Blue. They are commonly referred to in digital art as the term

Orange which is a mix between red and yellow colors, is the second color we stumble upon in the color wheel. It can be associated with warmth and also activity. Also, it is related to fire, energy and aroma. However, the use of this color in particular alone can be somewhat rare. That’s because it’s really vibrant and not that easy to the eye. It’s commonly used in addition with other colors as a strengthening factor. In Salvador Dali’s “The persistence of memory” in 1932 [2], we can see it’s there but not dominant as the other colors. The third color we encounter in the color wheel. Although yellow just follows red in the color spectrum, it has a much more calm and amusing effect. It is mostly attached to amusement and gentleness in
America and in China, it is related to honor and glory. In Vincent van Gogh’s “The yellow house” in 1888 [3], the yellow color dominates in the painting, hence the name. The yellow color of the house makes this house bring joy and hope. It also acts as a beacon for artists.

Then, we get the color green. The fourth color in the color wheel represents wealth and riches in old early modern Europe. It is also mostly associated with
Islam and the Islamic art and culture. It represents nature, life, health and hope.
The color is really showing in Georges Seurat’s “A Sunday Afternoon on the
Island of La Grande Jatte” in 1886 [4]. It gives a close feeling to nature and life.

Also inducing calamity and serenity in one’s soul by using the scene of gardens and green life in a Sunday afternoon.

Blue is considered to be the most adored color by all humans. It is seen to be trustworthy, peaceful and comforting. It is easy on the eye and the least gender specific color that exists as it is found to be equally liked between men and
