The research will estimate the cleanliness is really an abstract state of being clean as well as free from pollution in order to maintain and achieve the state of being peaceful, healthy and fit. Hygiene refers to practices associated with ensuring good health and cleanliness and it is a science that deals with the promotion and preservation of health.The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between environmental cleanliness understanding with health behaviour clean and healthy lifestyle.

It's nationwide cleanliness Campaign, from the Valmiki Basti in New Delhi , 2 october 2014. This drive is run by government to make India a clean India in 2014. Due to lack of cleanliness in India , it is a big social issue in India that how to solve these kind of problems. India can be clean only by the support of each and every citizen of the country. The great person of India, Mahatma Gandhi had said that, “Sanitation is more important than Independence". Gandhiji believed cleanliness next only to Godliness. Every road, path, home, hut, office, stream and particle of air around us can must be clean. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi exhorted people to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi's dream of a clean and hygienic India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also pledged to people saying, 'na main gandagi karoonga , na main gandagi karne dooga' (I would not litter and won't allow anyone to do so). Modi encourage 1.25 billion people to join the 'Swachh Bharat Mission' and promote it to everyone. After paying tribute at the memorials of Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversaries, Modi himself initiated the cleanliness drive at Mandir Marg Police Station. Modi said, Gandhiji is watching us and we all should clean India. We must clean our surrounding like Gurudwaras, Temples,Mosques or any other place. The centre will spend nearly Rs 2 lakh crore in a five year span as part of its ambitious plan to completely clean India by Oct 2019 , Conciding with 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Rs 62,000 crore will allocate by Urban Development Ministry. Rs 1,34,000 crore for the programme to be launched by Modi on October 2 spend by Ministry of Drinking water and Sanitation. The ongoing cleanliness drive has sa far witnessed the participation of prominent leaders from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government including Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh , HRD Minister Smriti Irani , Water Resource Minister Uma Bharti , Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Law Minister Ravi Shankar
