America Cultural Values

Introduction In this appointment, I am proceeding to compare and contrast the following cultural values between Malaysia and the United States of America with their cleanliness and their family culture such as extended family and special family. Based on (Hofsted 1997), culture refers to the knowledge, experience, feelings, values, attitudes, meanings, hierarchies, religion, notions of time, roles, spatial relations, concepts of the macrocosm, and material objects and possessions taken on by a group of the great unwashed in the course of generations through individual and group striving. Besides that, it also is the amount of the total of the learned behavior of a group of people that are generally reckoned to be the tradition of that person and are transferred from generation to generation. Cleanliness is both the abstract land of being clear and free from dirt, and the procedure of achieving and keeping up that land. They are focusing on Jalan Tun Sambanthan because it is a tourist place and many of the restaurants are highlighted in tourist guides. It is thus important to build sure the cleanliness of the restaurants in that area is satisfactory and they do not sully the image of Kuala Lumpur. Some of the restaurants are using the back lanes as their extended kitchens and do not care the cleanliness. Besides that, more or less of the restaurants’ floor is tricky and most of their workers are not properly attired. Thither are many cockroaches and rats in the kitchen and food storage areas.
