Building an academic leadership role, a good form, making decision, problem solving, and success in oneself; literacy is an essential factor for us as a human being. Living in a society where communication must be required to function of life itself a better place to be in. Added ethicalities and diversity has shown many times in the past given you the abilities to expand to reach farther. Within today 's world, economics, and technology are expanding. Evolving consistently at a rapid pace. In order for societies being able to properly maintain itself; we need to evolve our self too. Only then we, shall we meet the demand the world is calling for. Growing up in America was not a walk in the park for many peoples such as myself. Growing onto a foreign land which you are not used, can be extremely difficult. Inside daily activities of modern societies communication with one another is a crucial need of human activities. The languages barrier many times can easily misled your intent of communication by causing confusion and misunderstand among one another. Therefore, it is important to make you’re that your communication is clarify and that it is well understood. My father faced many crises because lack of literacy due to the language barrier. Despite many catastrophes he has shown no regret, remarkable he communicates and comprehend through hand gestures and body language. Akinwamide and Kolade (2012) emphasize that “So in English teaching, we should not only pass on knowledge and train learners’ competence of utilizing language, but also enhance teaching relative cultural background knowledge.”. Numerous interruption to communication breaks the suggested significance of the communication from accomplishment to spectators. Professor Berge stated in this article Barriers to Communication in Distance Education “In many cases, distance education participants still believed they needed to observe the body language of the person they were communicating with, in order to understand and be understood.”, For example a recent incident at work like my coworker who wife has just recently past away, Once a somebody’s mind and his awareness of attention is diverted or inattentive with additional effects, the somebody is not capable to give a proper communication, pay attention to what others are doing and cannot comprehend the communication in any way. A method I propose to prevent ill tragic event from happen is to be just a good listener when that somebody approaches you.
