How do companies profit across a motivated employee? The corporate world profits across hiring veterans who are loyal employees and willing to demonstrate their inherent abilities. While there might be a belief that veterans are ill-equipped for the corporate world. I intend to present an informative case showing that veterans are well-equipped and willing to demonstrate their ingrained leadership, motivation, and professionalism. All of which traits are needed to succeed in the corporate world and lead to an employee inspiring their fellow colleagues and furthering the institution.

Every soldier through history has honed their skills of leadership over several months of continuous training through their service in the military. Whether a soldier is a commissioned or non-commissioned officer, they instill leadership within themselves through their action and promote the idea across up-and-coming leaders. According to Powers R. (2016) “Department of Defense (5500.7) Standards of Conduct, provides guidance to military personnel on standards of conduct and ethics”. Which incorporates the belief of integrity and accountability within veterans for that reason employers look towards veterans for employment. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary (n.d.) integrity is the “quality of being honest and fair”; additionally, accountability is defined as someone “required to explain actions or decisions to someone else”. For this reason, a veteran can be valued as a moral person who embodies both integrity and accountability. Which can be observed through their unwavering commitment to serving their country to the best of their abilities, and holding themselves accountable for any mistakes they
