Hearing my name from her lips was an ecstasy that put me into bliss. I shook my head to regain my focus, “My theory?” I said incredulously. “That I’m high and hallucinating” it came out plain. Then, I realized I was gawking at her, trying to shift my gaze uncomfortably, “why don’t you answer my questions?” I said honestly. I placed the gun into my waistband, and tightened my belt around it to hold it in place. That’s when I got a strange feeling in my spine, a sense that prey gets, when a predator is fixated on them. With that realization the wail that normally came from the warehouse. It was something that I had grown use to working here a lot, but it was unnerving to some.
