The Honda Incident

On 05-26-2016, at approximately 2157 hours, the Victim, Justo Marcano Rivera, was riding a light blue Schwinn bicycle westbound on Heather Field Drive and for reasons unknown, failed to yield to northbound traffic on Hulsey Road. The Victim, rode into the northbound lane of Hulsey Road, violating the right of way of, and was struck by, a northbound Honda motorcycle. The Honda motorcycle bearing Florida tag # 92280K and VIN#: JH2SC4402YM003866, was being driven by the Defendant, Kyle Adair Jones. Reconstruction of the crash showed the Defendant was driving at a speed range of approximately 45 to 55 miles per hour, which is 20-30 miles per hour over the posted 25 mile per hour speed limit. Witnesses Miller and Chrosniak said in sworn statements,
