The Gunpowder Exploits at Fort Henry

The main point of this article is that on September 12, 1782, there was a battle between the British Ranger and the Indians; there were two heroic pioneer teenage girls that ran cross the battle to field from the same cabin to deliver gunpowder long and bloody frontier warfare along the western border. Elizabeth Zane was the first one recognized for heroism. There was a book written about Elizabeth Zane by Zane Grey, author of the western novels and a descendant of the illustrious Colonel Zane, the title was Betty Zane.
