Daisy had her chin propped up on her hand and her legs were shaking terribly. She shuddered frequently as if she was trying to obliterate an appalling nightmare. Tom had his arms crossed against his chest, he was glaring at the wall behind Daisy with an indigent look on his face. “Why did you say that?” demanded Tom. “W-What?” whispered Daisy, confusion clouding her eyes. “Don’t think I’ve forgotten your little stunt at lunch today,” growled Tom remembering the events at the Plaza hotel. “You had no right to embarrass me like that.
