Grady had been having financial trouble for years with a net loss of $30 million yearly. Grady to serve the undeserved, however, Grady Health System still commits to that commitment, but it also serves the vast community of metropolitan Atlanta. Although Grady has had its share of financial difficulties, poor patient and employee satisfaction the future of Grady Memorial Hospital appears optimistic under management and leadership of Grady’s CEO, Mr. Haupert, and CNO, Dr. Rhonda Scott. Growth of the health system is both internal and external. New constructions are taking place, services are expanding, and nurses are engaged and patients are satisfied with the care they are receiving.
