Book Report on The Giver The Giver by Lois Lowry tells the story of how Jonah came to the point of bringing memories back into a society rid of them. The book is set in a futuristic society that has adopted Sameness, erased memories of life previously, and eliminated war, pain, fear, and hared, along with other deep emotions. Throughout the story, readers experience a glimpse of what life would be like if we had a truly equal society, and it’s not as glamorous as some may expect.
