Ecuador, came to get it’s name due to the fact that it's close to the Equator. Ecuador is South America’s fourth smallest country, it’s often said to be one of the most geographically and ethnically diverse countries in South America, due to its wide range of diversity including its people and its foods and culture. Ecuador is located in South America, on the Equator it also extends out to sea to the Galapagos Islands. Ecuador is about in equal area to Nevada, is in the northwest part of South America fronting on to the Pacific. The people of Ecuador speak Spanish, Quechua, and now English is starting to be part of the curriculum for students. Because of its year round ideal climate, the mountains are popular to travelers at all times of the year. The Amazon is located to the east of the Andes and covers over half the country. Ecuador’s Population as of 2017 is currently 16,625,776. Some of the tourist attractions that Ecuador has are the following; Galapagos Island, Quito, Guayaquil, Montañita, Cuenca, Cotopaxi. The most famous one is Galapagos Island; has a wide variety of animals it attracts about thousands of people from around the globe due to its weather, animals, and location close to the equator making it a great vacation/resort/ escape for anybody trying to get away from it all. The weather yearly in Ecuador is always hot, but the average temperature during the day is 66 °F (19 °C) which usually falls to an average of 50 °F (10 °C) at night. I’ve also been to the country since my father is Ecuadorian and from Experience, the country itself is beautiful and I’ve been to several parts of Ecuador and the weather is perfect but I do suggest to carry sunscreen since the sun is very strong and you're bound to get sunburned in this beautiful
