Founder: The prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him), is often regarded as the founder of Islam. He was the last prophet to be sent by Allah. Although the first prophet was Adam.
Origin/Location: The origin is in Saudi Arabia. Islam is the youngest world religion.
Rituals: Five Pillars of Islam
Shahada: the statement of faith
Salat: daily prayers
Zakat: charity
Sawm: fasting
Ramadan
Pilgrimage

Sacred Texts: The Quran and Hadith are both sacred. Third of the Abrahamic religions, (Muslims) respect the Old and New Testaments, and considered Christians and Jews to be (People of the Book.) The Basis of Islam is the Quran, divinely revealed to Muhammad over a period of 22 years, beginning in 610 C.E.
