This covenant is found within Deuteronomy and Exodus. The Mosaic Covenant has over 600 commandments which, are both positive and negative. Some of them are blessings where others are curses. This convensnt is unique because it is not promised to all of the people. Those who follow God’s law will reap the blessings, while those who do not will be punished. This is very important because it deals with the promise God made to the people. God made Israel his most treasured group of people. God has made them the “chosen ones” among all of his people. He promised them they would be a kingdom of not only priests, but a holy nation as well, if they follow and obey the laws of God. Within this covenant, God gave Moses The Ten Commandments. This covenant was made to reinforce the promise that the people of Israel will have land of their own and not have to worry about being moved around. God said " I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name.” (2 Samuel 7:12) This covenant is different because unlike some of the others, there are not restrictions. Davidic Covenant will always remain in place. While covenants like the Mosaic can be broken because of sin, this once cannot. Even if David, his heirs, or the people of Israel commit sins, they will still get what God has promised
