In the beginning of psychology it was a unique type of philosophy with a subjective or theoretical way of thinking about human beings and their behavior and mental process. Physiology is the study of how all body processes function, including the electrical and chemical processes necessary for nervous system communication. There are five major perspectives in psychology starting with biological, psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive and last is a humanistic approach. The biological perspective can be exercised in figuring out how disorders like schizophrenia develop from genetic roots.
