Fad diets are diets that do more harm than good to people that want to be healthier. They can result in people consuming unprocessed food or too little food that can lead to them being very ill. For example“The Raw Food diet”. The Raw food diet claims that when you cook food it get rids of all of the nutrients of the food you eat and that all processed foods have no nutrients. This claims it will make you lose weight and get more nutrients faster. This was created by Maximilian Bircher-Benner in the late 1800s and the composted was released to the public in the 1930s. The cosipet does not cost anything but appliances to do this diet is not cheap. The fresh unprocessed food can cost $87 per person per week and you would need to get a kitchen supplies to eat this food can get up lead to $1000 or more! This diet is on lots of popular cooking and diets websites but there is a lot of news outlets that say to avoid this diet also. Though from all the website it seems many people have fallen for them based on the reviews of the diet.
