A child being born is said to be one of the happiest moment in parent’s life. They make a silent pact then to protect and love their little angel, regardless of any mistakes that he or she shall make. Unfortunately, sometimes when the parent is looking out for the child’s best interest, their actions can be detrimental to their well-being. This is often the case when a parent is faced with the reality that their son or daughter identifies as LGBT. Some parents may see gay children as having a disorder that they will grow out of, in spite of the medical community believing just the opposite.
