Your brain sends and receives signals to other neuron webs when you are taught, shown, and learned a new piece of information to form new connections. . If the lesson is given to me more than twice, the 3rd time I will have forgotten about it because it is repeatedly being said, and I would get bored. It wouldn’t stick around in my long term memory web because I have already thought about something other than the lesson that is being repeated.
Since I am an auditory learner, I would use flash cards that I would repeat out loud to memorize the lesson, which has helped me. Multitasking’s effect on the brain is major. Multitasking is not when your brain is working with two things at once, it is when your brain switches gears and goes from one subject to the next. This causes you to not pay as much attention in class; which causes your grades to go down, which causes your GPA to not be so good. Phone and other electrical device usage during a class can cause more distractions which causes you to forget the lesson being taught that day.
