From the classic Anglo Saxon story, the Beowulf, it describes a hero who challenge to thwart the dragon for public individuals. In the story, Beowulf defeats the dragon as a monster and a fire dragon, but in real life, the dragon can be exist in innumerable ways.Joseph Campbell had said that " the dragon exist when one’s own binding of oneself to one’s ego. We’re captured in our own dragon cage." In contemporary life dragon could could be what we created to be. In other words, it could our own fear. In my current life, dragon viewed as my AP U.S. Government class. By vanquishing this dragon I can learn more knowledge and get into a good college; if not, even my life still goes on normally, but I will try another way to get to the same success. …show more content…
Government exists as a class not in my level. But I possess a big interest in law and politics, so the school, give me a big approbation to take this class in order to show my interest to the colleges that I want to get into. The impenetrable part of this class exists as I'm an international student, and the class is about the politics in a foreign country to me. The teacher has not taught the basic information at all since the AP level, students should know it by themselves. But in my case, I do not know most of the mastery, though I have taken several law courses. But if I passed this class successfully, there will be a better possibilities for me to get into the college that I want to. And if I get into a superior college, I can meet finer friends, and as well as I can give myself a better life in the future. Nevertheless, the fact of the life happened very unfortunate, I'm very lack of the background knowledge for this class, I got really bad grade for this class at the beginning of the school year. And it could affect myself to pass this class. Since I am so worry at the beginning, I came up with proposition to defeat this dragon. According to my hope, in order get a better grade in my AP U.S. Government class, I found a tutor outside of this class. She improves my plan to defeat this dragon, such as I plan to read the textbook, but she teaches me how to read the Book more carefully, such as how to outline the book while reading it. She also finds resources for me to study for this class online. Although I have someone helping me, but, this still depends on my hardworking to this
