Conflict is used in most literature, and it was what keeps the reader reading. The definition of conflict is a serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted one. I believe that to make a good story you will need some type of conflict to grab the readers. Sometimes conflict has revenge in it, revenge is the action of inflicting hurt or harm on someone for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands. Conflict can be a good or bad thing because conflict can encourage people to grow, helps people find common ground, and healthy conflicts often end with a win-win resolution. Bad conflicts are when there is Poor communication and friendships are broken and everything is bad. A bad conflict is when neither side wins or one-person wins and the other does not. …show more content…
Revenge is sometimes a good way to solve a conflict in a story. Conflict brings action and some emotion into the story so the reader will keep reading. Revenge also can teach people lessons like showing they will treat you the way you treat them. In the middle of The Most Dangerous Game general was hunting Rainsford and Rainsford hid. When Rainsford got to the shoreline he won the game. Then Rainsford showed up in the generals house and killed him for revenge for him and all of the other victims.
