Many animals are imprisoned by zoos that are trying to replace their natural habitat but doesn’t see that they aren’t able to replace these animals natural habitats these animals once lived in. In fact, it was stated, “capturing them destroys their routines and their way of life” (occupytheory.org). Animals have their own life and right to live in the wild. These animals that are caged in aren’t able to experience their natural behavior because they’re locked up in little cages. They have no option when to hunt, run, or properly take care of themselves. They sit and watch everyone else that are outdoors free and this makes them more depressed and has them feel less confident. Furthermore, aquarium animals feel the same way and go through the same thing. You would think it’s different but it’s not. Considering that since these animals are always locked up with no free area to be themselves or move i’m pretty that they’re going crazy since they have nowhere to go and zoochosis is what’s causing them to acting out these animals feel as if they were being teased by seeing all these other people be free and it hurts them deep down. It possibly makes them feel like they don’t want to live. Imagine this being you. Nevertheless, aquarium animals are worst they abuse each other the most according to Blackfish. The whales hurt each other when one gets frustrated with the other because of starvation (blackfish). These trainers are starving the whales which makes them get very aggravated and have them attack each other. This also brings anger towards the trainers, the whales are now attacking themselves and their trainers, because they are frustrated. The whales are beginning to abuse and hurt the innocent. This goes to show that these animals shall be freed so they can hunt and live on their own not depending on a person to feed
