Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for the body. It is usually of plant or animal origin and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals. The substance is ingested by an organism and assimilated by the organism 's cells to provide energy, maintain life, or stimulate growth. Food is something that we need to survive on this earth. There are different kind of food that keeps us healthy and brings us together. Food is fuel for your body, there are foods that are harmful to your body.
The taste of foods can either be sweet, bitter, or salty those types of food can be harmful to your body. If the sugar is not standing in need by the body, it is put in place for safe keeping

Both are contained with lots of vitamins and minerals help heal wounds and immune system. Vegetables can be either eaten cooked or raw it better is you eat them raw (Pegues, par 3). We’ve learned that once you broil or cook vegetables the good nutrients are lost during the cooking process. Eating vegetables may improve your health by reducing your weight or even risk of heart disease. The fruit is the same as vegetables can be either eaten raw or cooked. Fruit is very important sources of several nutrients, including potassium, fiber, and folic acid. Fruit helps improve your health by a reduced risk of chronic diseases. We all know something about smoothies, but have you ever tried to do it at home? Juicing your fruit and vegetables is good for your body, it helps cleanse and lose weight. If you were to just drink fresh fruit and vegetable juice for a month or more (Pegues 2). You are more likely to lose that weight you always wanted to lose. Yes, just drinking that will help you lose weight without taking pills or drink other protein shakes. Protein comes from meat, chicken, and eggs also processed in soy products such as nuts. It depends on age, sex, and physical activity level on how much protein your body needs. We’ve learned that every cell in the human body contained with the protein it is a chain of amino acids. Bodybuilders, football players, and basketball players are the ones that need all the protein they can get. There are two different types of protein that can be used, it is either protein or whey protein. Whey protein is a dietary supplement made up from milk.
