The Haunted Science Lab was more than just a nickname. That's what Nigel and Cory learned when they went on their adventure.
It started the day earlier. One cool, yet warm, Saturday in June, but Nigel wasn’t interested in playing baseball or running around. He was only interested in saving his hide. Nigel, a short, skinny 14-year-old, begged of the bully, “Please no, Please no! Please, I beg you, don’t make me go in there! Children go missing in there! There’s been three this week!”

Anyways, ghosts aren’t real, idiot.” said the bully, trying to get Nigel to go into the Haunted Science Lab.

“Quiet, we’ll be fine.” Cory had to drag Nigel into the lab kicking and screaming. When they stepped in, a cold draft hit them in the face and the doors slammed behind them. They walked for a minute, Nigel whimpering in fear every time he heard or thought he heard a noise. Cory stopped, shrugged, and said, “Well, we’re here. Might as well set up our sleeping

Having a paranormal experience can be bloodcurdling, but it can also be a phenomenal experience to look back on. When I was about thirteen years old, I had my first experience with a Ouija board. In the movie I, Robot we are introduced to a long debated philosophical question: “What makes a human being human?”. Is the essence of mankind the fact that we are biologically unique among the myriad of different species on this planet? Is it the fact that we seem to have transcended our baser needs in order to try and make the world fit us as opposed to us fitting into the world around us? Is it perhaps that we have what people would call a “soul”? Or is it possibly that we were said to have either evolved from our animal counterparts, the primates, in order to be what we consider better?…
