Every kid thinks about what is for lunch when they get to school it’s the first thing on their mind is what they get to eat for lunch, trust me I know I was a kid once. Parents worry about how healthy their kids lunches are in today’s society. Their are 2 sides to this argument the healthy side and the side that doesn’t care about what they eat but want to have more than a bird serving. People today don’t care how or what they eat and obesity is beginning to become a problem in today’s world. Back in the day you had to get up and exercise or you wouldn’t make it to survive then. You really have to want to eat and be healthy it’s really all boiled down to a want from yourself to do it. For starters you need to set out a meal plan to get started and if it was up to me I would start on the first day of the month it’s easier to keep track of it. That’s how schools do it they set out the lunch schedule for the whole month and they stick to it. Most of our lunches at the school are good and I usually don’t get concession unless I don’t get enough to eat for lunch. Our school doesn’t give us enough to eat to get full off of. For some kids in the world the only meal they get is when they come to school to get a hot meal. When we don’t give them enough to eat and they still go home hungry we are failing that child. We can’t expect to give them a full stomach when we only give them enough to feed a bird. Schools could at least give them the option for seconds, it will either get eaten or thrown away anyway so what would it hurt. If the lunch is healthy then why would it be a problem to give kids the option for seconds? The answer is that it wouldn’t be a problem at all it would help give that kid a full stomach. If the kids don’t like the meal being served then offer them a salad or give them leftovers of yesterday 's lunch. If they don’t have like what’s for lunch they would go to concession and eat unhealthy food. If you want to help kids ask for their opinion don’t try to force something unhealthy after school. If you want to help kids then let them voice their opinion don’t try to force something upon a kid because you’ll never get through to them.
