The Crimes Of Catalina De Erauso

It is 1625 in Spain and Catalina de Erauso has finally returned, after her long, adventurous journey in the New World dressed as a man, and will now stand trial to confront the crimes that she has committed. She has confessed her crimes to the archbishop and she can no longer escape what she has done. The situation has been brought to my attention and it is my responsibility as King of this great country to decide whether or not she is guilty. After hearing about her offenses, it is clear she has committed a number of crimes during her travels and as a result, her actions cannot be ignored. Her crimes include cross dressing, being a con artist, assault and murder, and lastly fleeing the law. She claims that her actions were in the name of Spain, except I do not believe her. These offenses were committed for selfish reasons. Consequently, I the King of Spain, find Catalina de Erauso guilty of all charges. I have been given a copy of her crimes in which she herself, has documented, it will help me find a suitable punishment for her. Although Catalina was arrested many times for her murders and was let go, there were times where she ran from the police. After she murdered her brother and after she killed and innocent bystander one night she fled the scene of the crime, running from the police. Often times after a murder she left for another location because she felt that many people would suspect her and throw her into jail. Even though she evaded the police, there were a couple of times where she was caught and questioned about her crimes. In one instance when questioned, she lied right to my loyal officers about what she had done. She claimed to be innocent but we now know after her documents that she is guilty of slaying a bystander one
