1 Introduction
1.1 C&S group GmbH Initially the idea of C&S group was conceived by Ostfalia University of Applied sciences Professor Wolfhard Lawrenz and materialized it in form of group that worked on analysis, conception and testing of complex systems in 1995. In year 2008 the group became an independent company. C&S group has headquarter in suburbs of Wolfenbüttel and another office in Ingolstadt. Currently Dipl.-Ing. Frank Fischer and Dipl.-Ing. David Bollati are the Presidents of company. C&S is relatively a small company focus on testing, consulting services, research and development for automotive industry. Since formation to date The Company has been contributor and member of key automotive groups and consortiums. It communicates with the IUT host platform using different ports. The Coupler Box has the ability to emulate a CAN device and also generate errors on the bus while maintaining the real time behavior stipulated in the test procedure, Scheduling and bus emulation is done by coupler box (See Figure 6). The logic analyzer is used to triggering or signaling and to log files.
FACTS.CAN.comNM PC suit, Coupler box together with logic analyzer form a test controller or lower tester part whereas upper tester and IUT together form SUT. TC controls the execution of test scripts on IUT by coordinating and controlling UT. The UT software is implemented as a user application on the IUT software. To make a single UT compatible with all range of IUT configurations an IUT Abstraction Layer (IAL) is created for each new IUT. IAL make upper tester module hardware independent in order to use it across different IUT
