Tattoos are one of the most controversial things that we can do to our bodies. Even when the ink going onto somebodies’ skin does not affect us, we still have our opinion on it, and some of us are not afraid to speak up about it. Some people hate them, they think tattoos are trashy or a form of destructive vandalism on the temples that we call our bodies. Other people may be head over heels in love with the idea of being able to adorn our bodies with a permanent picture. With all the controversy that flies around with tattoos, why would people still want to get them? People get tattoos because they are pieces of unique artwork, to participate in a part of their culture, and to cover up scars with something fresh and beautiful.
