Linear perspective is shown both back grounds and foreground in the stair and the buildings leading to a mountainous landscape. The weights in the portrait are balanced between the dense crowd to the left and the figures on top of the staircases. Meanwhile, people can be seen peeking outside the windows. The important figures have the most detailed attire which is also multicolored in blue, yellow, and red. Since everybody else wear clothing in one tone without any extra details in the clothing except for shadows in the robes. Also, the two figures can be indicated to be important how everyone’s heads are focused on them. Yet, the child in the middle represents the Virgin Mary at 3 years old with a bright yellow like mist around her. This yellow light represents either divinity or the essence in purity from the 3 year old child. Coloring of the foreground is in a yellow hue and the backgrounds are faded to mostly blue.
