Argumentative Essay On Divergent

Each faction on Divergent has a purpose in society. The Amity are farmers and councilors, Erudite are teachers, Abnegation run the government, Candor handle the law, and the Dauntless protect the citizens. Amity values peacefulness, Erudite value intelligence, Abnegations value selflessness, Candor value honesty, and Dauntless value bravery. I think these are good factions, but I think humor and happiness needs to be a faction. When somebody is down they need somebody to cheer them up and make them laugh. The reasoning for creating these fractions where to create peace and harmony within the society.
The factions are working ¨toward a better society and a better world¨ (p.44) as they say they are because then they can all stay focused on

You do not fit the requirement or personality the factions are looking for. To become factionless means you do not complete the initiations within each faction. If you fail or break a law within one of the factions, they will cut you out of the faction. I agree with Tris´s saying about Candors ¨It must require bravery to be honest all the time¨ (p. 62) because being honest all the time can hurt someone´s feeling or even get you in trouble. I believe that the Dauntless is braver than Candor because they have to jump off buildings and live in harsh environments. I would like to live in a society like Candor because since I know that they are telling the truth, I can trust them and if they comment me then I change and improve. Tris was very brave to choose Dauntless instead of choosing her original faction. Dauntless and Abnegation are very different. Dauntless is very energetic. They jump off the trains, climb buildings, and even fall off buildings. Abnegation does not jump off buildings, however, they do let people in first, wait for the train before people get off, pass out food to the factionless, and help out people who need it. Tris´s friends have the right to be jealous. If one of my friends were ranked above me, i would be jealous. If I was Tris,I would not forgive my friends if they betrayed me. Initiation helps her be stronger and tougher when she needed to be. I believe Tris made the right choice to choose

Scott Momaday posits that, "in the hands of an extraordinary artist", photography can cease to be the "static record" of a moment in time and transcend to a "deeper level" of artistic understanding. Everyone has time to be healthy Freshman 15 is an expression used to describe an arbitrary amount of weight students put on in their first year of post secondary studies, usually due to unhealthy eating and poor exercise habits. Students say they struggle finding a balance between work, leisure, and maintaining healthy habits, leading to a lack of exercise, and poor nutrition. These complaints are clearly caused by a lack of intrinsic motivation and a growing status quo of complacency, rather than actual time constraints. Despite the vast number of home workouts that one can complete in under ten minutes, students will still excuse themselves from any form of physical activity, in favour of inactive alternatives. The problem is further pushed…
