I remember going out to my grandparents and seeing the deer my family had harvested that fall, and wondering when I could finally get to go and experience what it was like myself. I always watched my dDad come home and have a little buck in the bed of his truck and I thought how come it wasn’t like in the hunting shows where they go out and shoot a massive buck.…

In the book the war on Christmas, Gibson’s claim is that the liberals are attacking Christianity by violating the first amendment and using it against the Christians by waging war on Christmas. This is stating that all Christmas is bad because it’s related to Christianity which is a universal affirmative proposition. It’s stating that Christmas is bad, Christianity is related to Christmas, therefore Christianity is bad. In the reading Gibson states that, “… Christmas trees, Santa Claus, treetop stars, wreaths” (Gibson, 2005, p. XVIII). The liberals that want to get rid of Christmas aren’t interested in the old traditional Christmas values and ways that we have all grown up with they want to move past that day and age.…

I would say that shopping for the Middle Tyger Christmas Shop impacted me the most. We, Leadership Byrnes, and other faculty raised money to be able to go shop for children this christmas. These kids are usually born into families that are not as fortunate as we are, or do not put their children's actual needs first. We went to Walmart and bought clothes, shoes, and toys for children of various ages. Middle Tyger changed the way they were doing their Christmas this year.…

The concept of social media is great. There are many fantastic features, but only if used correctly. My sister, my three cousins, and I are all in high school or college now, but we still put our bunny ears on every year and run around my yard like lunatics searching for Easter-eggs. Two years ago on Instagram, I posted a picture of myself running around with a basket full of eggs. The funny things about the pictures are my gorilla-like posture and the serious face.…

The Adrenaline that a hunter feels being in the top of a tree stand waiting for the perfect deer to hunt is absolutely incredible, however hunters are not always lucky enough to find their prey. My dad and I began going around the ranch a day before we went hunting, we looked around to see where the biggest deer’s were located. We tested and align the rifles, to leave everything prepared to go hunting the following day at dawn. We were very positive that we were going to be lucky enough to hunt a big trophy deer, tough the results we had were never crossed our minds.…
